Like I know that in fallout 1 they kidnapped people to 'recruit' them to their army and all the rest on the west coast are just trying to find purpose or take revenge while in D.C. They kidnap people to turn them into super mutants at Vault 87 so their species can continue but in the Commonwealth we just have a lead that the Institute made them. Mutant Invasion Time Limit So apparently the game has a hidden time limit where, after some time, towns are guaranteed to get bad 'invasion' ending slides. According to the Fallout wiki the earliest town gets the bad slide after only 90 days? I was wondering if this timer starts after you turn in the water chip, or after the game starts.
